The Priorities

A Workforce Lens for West Virginia's Future.

Five practical priorities built around the people who keep this state moving forward.

01

Make it easier to buy a home and build wealth

Reduce red tape, support housing development, and create pathways for families to put down roots.

02

Attract more industry to West Virginia

Invest in industries that make use of our natural resources and create higher-paying jobs.

03

Make childcare affordable for working families

Support practical solutions like a statewide tri-share childcare program so parents can work and children can thrive.

04

Expand trades, apprenticeships, and internships

Give young West Virginians real pathways into careers through workforce training, internships, apprenticeships, and technical education.

05

Support farms, farmers' markets, and local food access

Strengthen the agricultural economy while making nutritious food more affordable for working families.

Why Tara · Why Now

"I want to give people
reasons to stay."

I don't want people leaving West Virginia out of desperation. I'm raising a daughter here, and I want to make our home better for her. I want to give people reasons to stay by growing our economy, creating higher-paying jobs, and helping working families.

Why Independent

Independent Thinking.
Practical Solutions.

Tara is not interested in partisan politics. She is interested in good policy, strong solutions, collaboration, debate, data, and doing the hard work of reading the fine print.

A Promise

Your nerdy delegate Will research the Issues.

Voters deserve a delegate who studies the details, asks hard questions, and puts people before party.
